Vicinea is the verified neighbourhood app for Egypt’s Red Sea communities, starting with Soma Bay. It brings together the people who live, own or stay there and the local businesses that serve them, and checks both.
Residents and owners, who follow their community, ask neighbours and find trusted help. Guests, who book a home and get groceries, golf cars and services delivered. Local businesses, who get a page, orders, requests and bookings from the community.
Order from shops, bakeries, cafés and pharmacies. Ask for a quote from home services such as AC, plumbing and cleaning. Rent a golf car. Book a holiday home. Follow your children’s school calendar and announcements. Read and post in your community’s feed.
Residents and owners confirm their unit before they post. Businesses send their commercial registration or the owner’s ID, and their licences, before they get the Verified badge. Reports from residents are reviewed by moderators.
Vicinea started in Soma Bay, on the Red Sea coast south of Hurghada, and is opening in more Red Sea communities.
